AI Strain

This week I had many issues to overcome. And I overcame many, but alas there was an issue that I could not get to work. Most of the week I spent on trying to convert everything to Behavior Tree and expand upon it. I made the patrol better and the chase much smoother. I also used AI perception and a few other parameters to make it hard to lose the enemy, or outrun it. The main issue came today, on the day of our milestone deadline. My team desperately needed the AI to be able to deal and receive damage. So I spent my entire day, over 7 hours, trying to make this work. After many tutorials and research I still could not implement this. It gave me weird errors and unexpected troubles so I was unable to make the deadline and let my team down.

This is obviously a major problem for the user as the game is rendered completely unplayable if the main part of the game, which is combat. The hero cant kill the enemy and vice versa. This week was a disaster for us but we will keep on keeping on. I hope to get the major issues fixed this weekend by Monday so we do not go into a new week with a ton of work.
